Before I start talking about the expo, there are a few things you all should know. I didn't get very much sleep last night and not to mention the fact that I can be really slow at times and extremely shy. So my brain wasn't working properly today. On top of all that, I've got a really bad headache and I want to barf!

With that said...

My Mom and I drove to the Airtel Hotel, which took about an hour and a half. We got there really early so naturally we were the first ones there. When we signed in to get our tickets, they gave us gift bags with a bunch of cool stuff; posters, buttons, a slide show book, etc. So since we were so early, almost no one was set up yet. We were waiting in the café inside the hotel watching people come in and out. Since it was a SciFi and Horror Expo, naturally I saw a bunch of oddly dressed people who were also there for the Expo. My Mom got all excited over this one group of people. One of the guys had some weird set of contacts on so when you looked at his eyes, it looked like he didn't have any. They were completely white.

Then, a little while later, a woman wearing a green shiny shirt walked in and my Mom tried to get me to turn around and look at her shirt. My Mom told me that her shirt looked like a mermaid shirt. Well, after waiting a few more minutes, we were told that it was okay to go in. We were walking around looking at all the memorabilia's, picture's, and movie's. That was only one side of the room. The other side had all of the star's signing autographs.

As I was passing the tables, I was looking around for Kari. I didn't see her so I was looking at all the name tags, searching for her's. We were near the end of the tables and I still didn't see her or her name tag. But then that's when my Mom saw the lady with the shiny. She then looked at her name tag and guess what it said? Kari Wuhrer!!! LOL. Can you believe that?!? She walked right past me and my Mom in the lobby and we didn't recognize her. That's probably because she dyed her hair to blonde-ish... again. That was when my brain just stopped working. She had looked so different in person. My mom kept telling me that Kari was much more beautiful in person and tiny, too. I walked up to her table while she was talking to some guy. When she was finished, I introduced myself and handed her the letters. She thanked me and gave me a hug. Then she told me that the guy she was just talking to was the director of Poison. She, then, autographed one of the pictures I had picked out and also took one with me. Kari is different in person than on T.V. or in movies. She's also a sweetheart, too.

After that, my Mom and I walked around the room again. My Mom just had to stop and meet Michael Bailey Smith. I don't know if some of you know who he is but he played on charmed as Balthazar (sp?), Men in Black II, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and The Hills Have Eyes. I thought that was pretty neat considering I use to be a huge fan of the show Charmed. My Mom got his autograph and then we left that room to go into another room for a special screening. We only stayed for a couple because it was just really dorky. You'd have to be a SciFi/Horror fanatic to really appreciate it, or even remotely like it.

So that was how my day went. I'm not sure when I'll have pictures because I had a disposable camera so I have to go get them developed. Hopefully soon. I also didn't take that many pic's because like I said earlier, I was practically brain dead. Forgive me, my retarded side showed today.

I don't know if Shaun was there or not. I really didn't pay that much attention to the people around me. Obviously, considering what had happened earlier with Kari walking right pass me. It really wouldn't have mattered because we all still don't know what Shaun looks like.

If you did go today, Shaun, then I hope you had fun. If you go tomorrow, then take more pictures then me. Also, be sure to get a Buffy doll.
