Wow. Loved all the clues you dropped about Reese's and Carly's past and can't wait to find out what happened to Sonny and how does it involve Alcazar, and is there a triangle beginning to brew between Reese/Jason/Alcazar.

Great job, Tinks! I loved it. Glad Reese and Jase aren't really involved. I wonder how Sonny died or is he really dead. I wonder how the Jason/Reese/ Alcazar triangle will turn out and will Alcazar ever find out or does he know that Jason was the one who shot him up.

Note: A few things to keep in mind when reading this next chapter. I didn't proof read 'cause I'm lazy. No shocker there. LOL. I usually don't proof read anyways, with the exception of the last one. Next, I am so proud that the last chapter aroused so many great questions, all of which will be answered in future chapters. Also, I watch a lot of Alias which is where my main inspiration for this entire story came from, especially the action scenes coming up in chapter 7.

Enjoy this next chapter. I'm thinking I might update Begin Again next. Maybe.


Chapter 6
He stood in front of his son’s grave. Who would murder a defenseless teenager in cold blood? Lorenzo thought to himself. He could only come up with one answer: Manuel Ruiz.
“I swear I will find who ever did this to you and I will make them pay.”
Lorenzo heard footsteps. He turned his head slightly and saw Carly walking over to where he stood.
“Thought I might find you here.” Carly said, now standing next to him. She looked down at Diego’s grave and frowned. “I’m so sorry, Lorenzo, about Diego. He didn’t deserve to die like that.”
“He didn’t deserve to die at all.” Lorenzo replied. “What are you doing here, Carly?”
“Well, I just wanted to see if you were okay, especially after what happened yesterday. It must have been hard for you.”
“I’ll be okay once I’m far away from Port Charles.”
“But what about Reese?”
“She seems to have moved on and I plan on doing just that once I take care of some unfinished business.”
“Reese loves you, Lorenzo. You can’t just leave without hearing her side of things first.”
“If Reese gave a damn about me, then she wouldn’t have shacked up with Jason Morgan, of all people.” He said with complete and utter disgust. “What surprises me most is that she didn’t hop right back into bed with Sonny the first chance she got.”
“Oh, Lorenzo.” Carly began. “You will never know just how much pain Reese truly went through since your alleged death.”
“Funny. It doesn’t seem to show.” Lorenzo glanced at his watch. “Whatever hell Reese went through in the six months I have been missing is nothing compared to what my son suffered his entire life and now I will be leaving town to honor his memory. If you’ll excuse me...” Lorenzo began to walk past Carly but she managed to grab a hold of his arm.
“Wait.” She said. “How long will you be gone?”
“I bought a one way ticket to Buenos Aries. That should tell you something.”
“Argentina?” Carly curiously asked with a mischievous look on her face.
“You know your geography.” He retorted while continuing to walk away.
“I hear ‘The Gallery’ is an excellent club.” She hollered to Lorenzo as he walked away, leaving a bewildered look on his face.
Carly smiled. ‘Maybe fate isn’t hocus pocus, mumbo jumbo after all. Maybe it really does exist. And maybe Reese and Lorenzo are meant to be together after all.’ She thought to herself.
As Carly was walking, she passed by a grave marked Michael ‘Sonny’ Corinthos II. She gazed down at his grave with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.


“Thanks.” He payed the cab driver and got out. He looked around at his surroundings and proceeded to enter a noisy provocative club with sign that said, ‘The Gallery.’ Lorenzo silently wondered how Carly could have known about a club in Argentina where he was meeting a man who would help him locate Manny Ruiz.

The boys in the band,
Decide to appear.
We walk through the door
Savour the air.
The girls on the floor,
I've come here to stare.
We've come here to stare.

The place was jam-packed with people. He walked over to the bar. “Bourbon. No ice.” He shouted over the loud music to the bartender and slapped some money onto the counter.

I have the right to pull the girls.

He reached for his drink and took a swig. He then sat it back down on the counter and glanced around as he waited for Santiago.

At the corner of his eye, he saw a woman with short burgundy hair dancing sensually on stage along with a few other women. For some unknown reason the red-haired woman intrigued him. Her back faced him.
However, when the woman turned around and faced him, his eyes widened in shock.

The woman dancing on stage was none other than Reese Marshall.

LOL I love it. Funny how we both had Reese dancing in a club in our stories. It sure did remind me of Alias and I'm looking forward to having all of our questions answered. I'm very much intrigued.

Just stopping by to drop off a brand new chapter and then its off to bed. Yes, you read right. I plan on finishing this story hopefully before the end of this year. LOL. This new chapter is mostly lyrics, which was slightly unintentional. Whops. And, also, keep in mind that I have spelling issues. LOL. Thats an understatement.

Chapter 7
They both instantly locked eyes but only for a brief moment. ‘What the hell is he doing here?’ Reese thought to herself. Lorenzo’s unexplainable presence was about to blow not only her cover, but everything she had been working for in recent months.

Nevertheless, Reese continued dancing and figured she would have to either improvise or come up with plan B.

Lorenzo extended his arm and grabbed his drink from the counter. He took a big gulp, figuring he’d need it after seeing his ex-lover dancing on stage posing as a stripper. This was definitely going to be a long night.

You're saving the best for me tonight.

“Lorenzo Alcazar.” A man said, while approaching Lorenzo.
He turned and saw a dark, tall man wearing a dark blue suit accompanied with three well-armed body guards. “Jose Santiago.” The two men stood face to face and embraced slightly and patted their backs.
“We all thought you were dead, homie. What happened?” Jose asked inquiringly, while leaning against the bar.
Lorenzo grinned slightly. “Sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Santiago. Fate seems to have other plans for me.”
The bartender handed Jose a drink. “Man, it has been too long.” He said while smiling smugly and sipping his drink.
“You have no idea.” Lorenzo replied as he gazed over at Reese on stage.

“Ah,” Jose began, “I see you have a fascination with one of my most favorite money makers, Sasha.” He leaned in close to Lorenzo. “You know, If you want, I can have her help you work out your frustrations if you’d like. She’s good at that.”

Once the song was over, the curtains were drawn. Lorenzo turned his attention back to Jose. “No thanks.” Lorenzo answered. “I’ll pass. I do, however, need some information on someone.”
“Hey, your loss is another’s gain.” Jose snapped his fingers together and one of his guards went backstage. Jose and his two other body guards walked over to the back corner of the club and Lorenzo followed suit. Both Lorenzo and Jose sat down.
“What kind of information do you need?” Jose asked while his guards got situated.
“I’m sure you’re well aware that about a year ago, my son was murdered in cold blood.”
Jose nodded his head. “I’ve heard.”
“Well, just before an attempted had been made on my life,” Lorenzo watched as a waitress brought over two. “I had finally found the man responsible for my son’s death.”
Jose’s bodyguard re-joined the group along with Reese.
“Hello, gentlemen.” Reese said, while grinning ever slightly.
Lorenzo simply eyed her suspiciously. Jose and his bodyguards stood and Lorenzo followed.
“Sasha,” Jose began, “I was just trying to talk my friend into getting a more intimate performance from you. Sadly, he decided to pass. I, on the other hand, would love to take his place.”
Reese, posing as Sasha, cocked her head to the side and arched her brow. “Now, Mr. Santiago, you know I don’t do that.”
Jose stepped closer to her. “What if I made it worth your wild?”

Time
It's not worth my time
Moonshine
Bleeds into my eyes

Reese smiled mischievously. She, then, unexpectedly pushed Jose onto the chair directly behind him. Reese began moving her body slowly and seductively.
Lorenzo watched in disgust and yet, he found himself more curious as to what exactly happened after he was believed to be dead.

I still
Sleep on the right side
Of the white noise
Can't leave the scene behind

Could I be anything you want me to be
And show me the way to be seen

When Reese was about to move closer to Jose, the lights where cut off. The darkness surrounded the club instantly. Only voices could be heard and movement could be felt.
The next thing Lorenzo knew, someone grabbed his arm and pulled him away. He followed the person guiding him, not really having a choice.

[Chorus]
Do you see yourself in a crowded room?
Do you think I'll snitch? Are you pistol-whipped?
Do you step in line or release the glitch?
Can you fall asleep with a panic switch?

Just as the emergency exit door opened, the club lights were turned back on. Lorenzo was not all that surprised to see Reese’s hand on his arm. “Reese.” He said, simply.
“Shhh.” She didn’t want to blow her cover. It was bad enough that Lorenzo was there. She had hoped he wouldn’t go looking for danger. However, it was too late. He had unknowingly walked right into the middle of something he was not quite yet ready for.
Lorenzo turned his head only to see Jose search himself for something.
“Where’s my…?” Jose grumbled angrily to his guards. He glanced across the room and saw Reese and Lorenzo standing close to one of the emergency exits. “That bitch has my phone!” He yelled and pointed.
Both body guards began to walk swiftly towards both Reese and Lorenzo, dodging scared civilians.

When you see yourself in a crowded room,

Do you think she'll sleep with a panic?

“Come on. We have to move.” Reese grabbed Lorenzo’s hand and proceeded to guide him out of the club.

But the red news came ripping in to fight.

If I go anywhere that you want me to go,
How do I know you'll still follow?

That was excellent Tink. You are a excellent writer. The fanfic section has been quiet. I may not be writing fanfic's right now, but I'm still writing which soon I will go into more detail about.

Author's Note: This chapter includes a few characters from One Life to Live; Antonio Vega (who did not leave to hunt Carlo Hesser), Talia Sahid (who did not die), and Oliver Fish (who is not gay in my story). These characters will most likely make more appearances in future chapters.


Chapter 8
“What the hell is going on?” Lorenzo asked as he followed Reese to a dark alley just outside the club.
Seconds later, a black van pulled out in front of them. “I’ll explain later.” Reese said. The sliding door to the van opened and Reese jumped in. “Get in.”
Lorenzo looked back briefly just as bullets began flying in their direction. He had no choice. The second he was in the van, the door slammed shut and took off.
The guards kept shooting at the van until it was out of sight.

Reese took her wig off and tossed it aside. She shook her head to let her wavy locks loose. Looking back, Lorenzo saw a shy young man sitting behind them hand Reese a black coat. “Think you might need this.”
“Thanks, Fish.” She put the coat on and ran her fingers through her hair.
“You okay, Reese?” The wavy brunette haired woman in the front seat of the van turned to her side to look at Reese.
Lorenzo sat silently as he observed the occupants in the vehicle.
“Yeah.” She answered. “Thanks for the distraction.”
“You’re welcome.” She looked at Lorenzo in astonishment and then she turned back to Reese. “Who’s this?”
“Talia, this is Lorenzo Alcazar.” Reese said, bracing herself for what she knew was coming.
“Are you insane?” Said the driver.
‘And there it is.’ Reese thought to herself.
“I’m sure what Antonio meant to say is,” Talia began, interrupting an obviously upset Antonio, “You took a really big risk bringing him along with us, Reese.”
“I know, but I couldn’t just leave him there.” Reese extended her arm back with Santiago’s phone in her hand. “Here, Fish. I got you a souvenir.”
“Sweet.” Fish took the phone and hooked it up to his laptop. “Now lets find out where Mr. Jorge Rivera, or should I say, Manuel Ruiz, is hiding.”
“Remember, Fish, we are also looking for informants, ‘employees’, contacts used by either the Ruiz family or the Corinthos organization who haven’t been arrested or turned FBI informant.” Talia added.
“Got it.”
Lorenzo looked down at his hands as soon as he put two and two together. He suddenly turned his head to the side. “Since when did you start working for the FBI again?” He asked Reese.
She looked at him dead straight in the eyes before she answered him. “About three and a half months ago.”
Everyone could feel the tension between Reese and Lorenzo. Not another word was spoken.

Once they pulled into the airport parking lot, Fish sighed triumphantly. “And…Almost…There. Got it. He’s in Havana with two of Corinthos’ former employees.”
“Good work, Fish. See if you can narrow their current location, then contact me with the details.” Reese told him. Everyone got out of the car. “Sahid, inform Agent Marquist that I’ll be in touch just as soon as I land in Cuba.”
“Wait, Reese.” Antonio reached for her arm. “You’re not seriously going to Havana alone, are you?” He asked.
“She’s not going alone.” Lorenzo interrupted Reese as she was just about to answer Antonio.
“No. No way am I letting you hunt down a psycho path with only a thug as back up.” Antonio hissed.
Lorenzo rolled his eyes. He really loathed that word.
Reese looked at Lorenzo then back at Antonio. “I have a small window of opportunity to bring down the most dangerous man I know.” She jerked her arm free. “I’m going.”
Antonio looked at Talia briefly and turned his attention back at Reese. “At least let me come with you.”
“No.” She answered firmly. “You have a family to think of.” She grinned slightly at Talia.
“What about Mia?”
“This is my fight, Antonio. My daughter isn’t safe until Manuel Ruiz is behind bars.” A single tear fell down her cheek. “Besides, I out rank you, detective.” She smiled playfully. “It’s okay. I can take care of myself, Vega.”
She began walking away with Lorenzo following close behind.
“Be safe.” Talia hollered from behind them.
“I will.” Reese said.
Reese knew if she told Lorenzo to stay behind, he wouldn’t. It was no use. He was willing to walk right into danger if it meant avenging his son’s death.

Two and a half hours passed by. The silence continued between Reese and Lorenzo. They sat on opposite sides of the plane and avoided eye contact.
She continued looking out the window next to her. “Why didn’t you let me know you were okay?” Reese asked, looking at him and breaking the awkward silence. “I was literally out of my mind with grief after you were pronounced dead. You could’ve at least called to let me know you were alive, but you didn’t.”
“I didn’t want anyone to know where I was. Someone wanted me dead, Reese. I thought I was protecting you,” He added, “but clearly you don’t need the protection.”
“You’re right. I don’t need protection, but I needed you,” She paused briefly, “I still do.”

Wow! GREAT JOB, Tink!!! Love how you incorporated Antonio, Talia and Fish in a way that makes sense! Reese would definitely have the same attitude with Antonio if this played out on GH or OLTL. Like how Reese and Lorenzo admitted that they still need each other.

Loved it tink. I'm not familiar with the other characters from OLTL except for Antonio LOL. I loved the tension in the story. Can't wait for the next chapter.
