Click on the My Controls link at the top of the board.

On the left hand side ... under the OPTIONS category .... click on the Board Settings Link.

From here you can choose whether you want to see Siggy Images and Smileys on the board or not.

If you have a slower connection to the internet, the pages here will definitely load a lot faster for you if you block Siggy Banners and Smileys.
