Christmas 2006
Sonny Corinthos didn’t think he would have a reason to celebrate Christmas this year. Michael and Morgan were getting ready for Carly and Jax’s wedding and Kristina was still traumatized by what she saw happen in the warehouse. He didn’t know what he was going to do. Life was going to hell in a hand basket fast.
Sonny sat next to his fire place looking over pictures of his kids. This time last year, Carly and the boy were reunited, Kristina was excited to be spending her first holiday with her baby sister and Sonny was glad to see all his kids so happy. Whoever would of thought 2006 would be what is was. Not that 2005 was better. His kids were kidnapped, returned, Michael was believed dead and then believed a murder. Carly married Alcazar and then had a mental breakdown. Then the train crash and he watched as the women he loved died in his arms. Then this last year an epidemic claimed his sister’s life, he got involved with Emily, had a mental breakdown, learned he was bi-polar and would have to take pills for the rest of his life, Sam was almost killed, Jason was almost killed, Ric had gone nuts and Kristina had seen the inside of his world and was now suffering from it.
“How the hell did my life got to this point?” Sonny asked out loud.
“Simple, you’re not doing your best to control your life. You are letting others do that.” A voice said. “Where is the strong Michael I saw when he stood up and faced Deke? Where is the son I left with a head on his shoulder?” A women sat in front of him.
“I don’t know mama.” Sonny said.
“Michael this is not what I wanted for you.”
“What a psychotic brother who wishes for nothing more then to steal my life.”
“I am sorry for the way Richard turned out. I was so hoping he would be good and kind.”
Sonny laughed.
“Mama he is nothing like that.” Sonny said. “He is the true monster everyone calls me.”
“We are not here to talk about Richard, for I am afraid I can’t help him, but for you it is not to late. This address will lead you to hope and love again. Hurry my son because if you don’t restore your faith in Christmas by Christmas morning I am afraid you will never fine it again and I know your kids need you. I love you my son.” She kissed his head and was gone. Sonny held tight the piece of paper in his hand.
Sonny looked down that the paper.
“17423 SW Macadam ct.” Sonny said reading it out load. “Max.”
Max walked in the room.
“What’s up boss.” Max said.
“Where is 17423 SW Macadam ct?”
“A few blocks away from where I grew up in Plainview near the boarder.”
“I need to go there now.” Sonny said. “You and Milo get the car.”
“Right away.” Max said leaving the room.
Sonny placed the address in his pocket and grabbed his jacket heading out.
The drive to Plainview took about three hours. Sonny sat in the back looking at the paper his mom gave him.
“Boss if you don’t mind me asking what is in Plainview?” Max asked.
“I don’t know. All I know is I go to this address.”
“We will be there in about ten minutes.“ Milo said.
“Good.” Sonny said.
They arrived a a Victorian looking house about ten minutes later. Sonny looked out the window.
“Wasn’t this old widow Hickman’s place?” Milo asked.
“She dies like ten year ago. I thought the house empty. Boss would you like us to go check it out?”
“No, I’ll go. You stay in the car.” Sonny got out and walked up the path to the house. He knock and the door opened. He stepped inside the shut.
Inside a nice fire was lit and you could hear to little kids playing in the front room.
“Mr. Corinthos, this way.” the women said.
“How did you my name.”
“I am in the business of knowing. This way please.”
Sonny fallowed the women up the stairs and down the hall.
“She’s in there waiting. Try not to upset her please.”
“Ok.” Sonny said not knowing who was behind the door or why he was even here.
“Well go on.” The lady said and Sonny opened the door.
Inside there was a fire lit and he shut the door. He looked around for someone then he saw her standing by the window. A scarf pulled over her head.
“Hello,” Sonny said. “I’m Sonny Corinthos.”
“I know.” She said. “What are you doing here?”
“I was hoping you could tell me that.” Sonny said. “I got a visitor tonight and she said I needed to come here.”
“Who was your visitor?”
“My mom. She dead, but I could’ve swore she came to me and gave me the address to this place. The lady led me up here and said you were waiting for me.”
“Do you want to see who I am?”
“That would help me to know why I am here and who you are.”
“But you know who I am already. But I have changed. The last year has been hard on me.”
“There’s something about you. Like we have this huge connection, yet I can’t explain it.” Sonny said. “Please show me who you are.”
The lady turned and removed her scarf.
A/N: I know what your thinking. She is starting another one and she has like a million to finish already, but I love the idea and well I had to write it. let me know if you want more.
