Hello everyone,

First of all, my deepest thanks to you, Andrew, for orchestrating such an amazing birthday surprise! I was truly overwhelmed. The entire green room at GH was all about me. And for such a newcomer to the show, that made a huge statement to all, but most importantly, it made me feel so great...loved, supported, and not even a little old! That cake was gorgeous...holy cow...it was the most beautiful cake I've ever seen. I'm not a huge fan of my own photograph, but this was the Best pic of me I've seen in a while! Airbrushed in icing...it was a work of art.

Michelle Moore, bless her heart, was at the studio all day, and she took pictures of the cake. I'm making sure she sends one over to you Andrew. I would of brought a camera, but I had no idea what I was in for yesterday. The balloons with the cookies (I had two for breakfast so I'm a bit high on sugar right now) are so much fun. Thank you so much Anthony Licuria & Andy. Each cookie is shaped like a cake or balloon or party hat, and they are decorated with my name and stuff. My dressing room was full of flowers and gifts. You guys are so thoughtful.

Yesterday was an extremely difficult day on set. I was there from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and doing love scenes and emotional scenes and my God am I exhausted! I got home last night and bypassed the family celebration for my bed. What a day. I hope the work is good because i was so happy that it made concentration hard.

Anyway, I don't know where to begin expressing my gratitude, or even how I can. Everyone at Kari Wuhrer online... you are cherished and loved by me and my husband James. You stand by me, you understand my flakiness, and you shower me with gifts! I am proudly wearing my new watch with me and my baby on the face. I can't tell you how much I love it! The necklace, too, stating my love for Enzo, which is so pretty and never coming off (unless Reese is around...she may not know an Enzo). Thank you for the nicest and prettiest of things a girl could want. Music boxes and flowers and tiaras and lovely wishes for a happy day. Honorable mention: Thank you, of course, Andrew. My hero, my friend.

Next I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all the fans at Take No Prisoners. Wow. What an incredible display of affection and devotion. You guys helped make my birthday one of the most memorable of my life. All the flowers and heartfelt gifts were just overwhelming. (I'm running out of adjectives here so bare with me) Stacie, you are strong, intelligent, and generous woman. Thank you for the respect and support. Enzo loves his new book, we read it together this morning, I love my necklace (so pretty...look for it on the show), and the sweet coffee mug from Jennifer. No more paper cups at work!

The whole thing was so touching. Thank you thank you. I know it's hardly enough to try and mention everyone by name, but if you guys knew how badly I typed and how long this took me to write, you might feel a little better!!! Hee hee.

Sometimes i feel very unworthy of all this attention, but all I can hope is that you guys enjoy the show and don't hate me too much for what is out of my control. I try to approach this gig with integrity, but sometimes you need a bit of humor too.


I love you guys, and that's not an empty statement. Yesterday you all made me smile, cry, laugh, and feel the day to the fullest. I'm deeply grateful for that. Sometimes we lose track of what is really important in life. Stress and whatnot can take it's toll and we end up neglecting ourselves and even our family. We forget to experience the little joy in the fleeting moments. Moments we can never get back. I thought about that a little yesterday, and even in the middle of a very hectic shooting schedule, I got a real thrill and took a bite out of my own life...then a bite out of that delicious cake.

Again, with all my heart, thank you. Every beautiful one of you. I'll wear that silly, brilliant t-shirt to the grocery store now. Enzo needs some fruit and a new sippy cup.

I think that I know what you mean by sometimes things may be disappointing on the show, rest assured that we know you have to go by the script, even though it may not be what your fans want for Reese. I want a real romance between Sonny and Reese. If that isn't in the cards I will be truly disappointed but I will understand that is just the way it goes on a soap and I certainly won't be upset with you. What a star and what a sweet woman! I can't imagine how tiring and difficult it must be to work in the industry with a toddler, and to still manage to reach out to her fans. Kari manages to give us all even more reasons to love her.

Happy Belated Birthday Kari. i just recently got a user name. I think Gh is such a better show with you on it. I think you are an amazing Actress. i didnt know what i wanted to do with my life , because i always thought that i could never make it in show business, but you made me realize after reading and seeing you on GH, that it is possible if i work hard for it. SO I'm going off to school next year and i would like to study Performing Arts and dance. You made me realize how much i love to act. But i also love to write too.
